Chinese menus offer a wide variety of food 

Ahh... Chinese food, the mouthwatering Chinese cuisine.

 

Well apart from the current scenario of this pandemic which has proven to be ironic in justifying how special and unique Chinese food is, though a large amount of people in this world love Chinese food as it just tastes amazing, available in US and India and other parts of the world and also at cheaper rates. 

Its amazingly fun to know about what makes Chinese cuisine so popular and special.

Chinese people have some different kind of love for food, gifted by the unique culture giving food a special significance and a spiritual meaning.  It's not just food which is full of colors and aroma

its more a piece of art which is appreciated across the world. 

Chinese food has a different ingredient used in it which gives it a Umami or savory taste which distinguishes it from all other cuisines and that Chemical X is MSG or monosodium glutamate and that also the reason why people love Chinese food so much.

Chinese food has 5 main flavors that must be balanced according to Traditional Chinese Medicine — sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy.

Flavors vary across the whole country. For example, Sichuan cuisine is famous for astonishing spiciness, Hong Kong cuisine is sweet or savory, northern cuisine is salty, and southern minority cuisine is sour. 

Also Chinese cuisine involves a huge variety of vegetables having high amoungt of fibre, which also shows up as a positive aspect for health. 

But here we are talking about a wide variety of what chinese cuisine includes, when we talk about non- vegetarian part of Chinese cuisine might make someone feel squeamish due to food made out of those animals which the rest of the world keeps off the table such as bats, rats and dogs etc. 

Also a fun fact to know is the names of dishes in Chinese cuisine can be misleading or confusing, for example a dish made from a bovine or a cattle specie is named as "Husband wife lung slices" and another is "Ants climb trees" is vermicelli with spicy shredded pork meat. 

But the love for Chinese food is not going to go away. There are huge amount of people in love with this unique cuisine longing for splendid flavors.
